Preston College at The Hub!

We’re very proud to announce that Preston College is coming here to The Hub Buckshaw, offering a range of courses, allowing the residents of Chorley and Buckshaw Village the opportunity to study, without taking a trip into Preston.

We’re working with Preston College to offer residents of Chorley and Buckshaw the opportunity to improve their skills, or pick up a new hobby by taking a short course with Preston College, delivered right here at The Hub

Courses include:

Hairdressing, Beauty and Related Therapies

Hospitality and Catering

Health and Social Care

Leisure Courses

Business and Many More..

Preston College will be holding an open day here at The Hub on Thursday 17th May between 2pm and 8pm, have a chat to one of Preston College’s trained advisors, and find out more about the courses on offer.

Splash does Sport Relief

The week commencing the 19th March all lessons from Splash Babies up to the higher stages will be involved in a swimathon in aid of the charity Sport Relief. The children will be attempting a distance swim using various methods to make the class fun and interesting for the children.

We are also holding two Sport Relief pool parties – music, floats, toys and a lifequard will be present.

Friday 23rd March 7.00 – 8.00pm for the over 5 years (under 8 years need to be accompanied by an adult)

Sunday 25th March 12.00 – 1.00pm for the under 5 years (need to be accompanied by an adult)
