Cappuccino’s are hosting an open day for our local martial arts club on Saturday 5th March. There will be plenty of fun activities for the kids and an opportunity for you to ask the owners, Heidi and Mike, what the club is all about!
Leading Martial Arts is a local, family-ran martial arts club, comprising of parents, Heidi and Mike, and their daughter and son. The family teach a fusion of karate and kickboxing to children of all ages and abilities, starting with a cubs class for 4 to 6 year olds. From there, students can progress to the foundation class for 6+ year olds and advanced and senior classes for older, more experienced children. You can even train together as a family for some adrenaline-fuelled quality time! And, of course, there’s the opportunity to progress through the belts, so your children can reap the rewards for their hard work.
Some parents might be hesitant about sending their children to a martial arts class, as they’re worried it’s too violent or their child could get hurt. That couldn’t be further from the truth! Martial arts is an incredibly disciplined sport and Leading Martial Arts place an emphasis on the core values of respect, courtesy, humility and ambition. Their classes focus on improving the speed, flexibility and technique of their students, and always put safety first.

And all of this is done in a fun, child-friendly environment, which they’ll look forward to attending each week!
We’ve put together a fun day of activities for the children, including colouring, crafts, face painting and even an obstacle course where they can blow off some steam! Heidi and Mike will also be in attendance to answer any questions you might have about Leading Martials Arts, from prices to safety. And, of course, Cappuccino’s will be serving hot food and drinks all day, so you can enjoy a nice homemade meal too.
We hope to see you there on Saturday 5th March! Call us on 01772 454287 to book a table.
