Swimming Lessons in Preston at The Hub, Buckshaw

Looking for swimming lessons in Preston or the surrounding villages? Splash, the pool at The Hub in Buckshaw Village, teaches all ages and abilities in a warm, welcoming pool that is only a short drive from Preston, Chorley, Leyland and Euxton. Our lessons follow the recognised Learn to Swim programmes, so every swimmer builds confidence and skill step by step.

Swimming lessons for all ages and abilities

We teach babies through to adults, with both group lessons and one-to-one lessons so you can choose the right fit for your swimmer. Our instructors are qualified in the English Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) and the International STA Learn to Swim programmes, and we deliver Stages 1 to 7. Every instructor is fully Disclosure (DBS) checked, so children are in safe, experienced hands.

A warm, virtually chemical free pool

Our pool measures 10 metres by 5 metres and is 1.3 metres deep, an ideal size for learning to swim. It uses a virtually chemical free water system, which is kind to sensitive skin and comfortable for babies and young children. The warm water helps new swimmers relax and enjoy every lesson.

More than lessons at Splash

Alongside our Learn to Swim classes, we also run Aqua Aerobics for a fun, low impact workout, and we host Pool Parties and Discos for birthdays and special occasions. We work with local schools and nurseries too, and there is an on-site swim shop for costumes, goggles and everything you need in the water.
