This is an archived news post from The Hub at Buckshaw. In August 2013 we had three exciting opportunities across our busy community hub in the heart of Buckshaw Village, Chorley. The vacancies below have long since been filled and the details are shared here for reference only.

Out of school playworker

We were looking for a qualified out of school playworker to join the team for approximately 17 hours per week, working our afternoon sessions. Relevant childcare qualifications were essential for this role. Interested applicants were asked to contact Lea or Sarah on 01772 452244.

Creative hair stylist

Our salon was seeking a full time, experienced creative hair stylist with a minimum Level 3 qualification. We wanted someone hardworking and passionate to join our state of the art salon environment, with salary dependent on experience.

Weekend manager and cook

We were also recruiting a weekend manager and cook to look after the team over the weekend. The role involved taking on the main cooking duties, with assistance available, and offered a potential 36 hours per week in total with additional weekday hours to be negotiated.
