The children have enjoyed playing in this wonderful snow! Snowy days are a real treat at our Buckshaw Village nursery, giving the children the chance to wrap up warm and explore a magical, frosty world right outside their door.

Sledging, snowmen and snowy play

Once the snow settled, there was no stopping the fun. The children have been sledging, making snowmen and thoroughly enjoying the snowy environment in the outdoor areas at nursery. Outdoor play in all weathers is an important part of nursery life, and a snow day like this one is the perfect chance to learn, explore and giggle in the fresh air.

PJ Day for the Katy Holmes Trust

We also held a PJ Day on the Friday to raise money for the Katy Holmes Trust, with the children coming to nursery in their cosy pyjamas. During the day we were delighted to meet The Huskie Huddle, a lovely finishing touch to a very snowy week.
