It is completely free to come along, so wrap up warm and bring the whole family for a day of themed fun, tasty food and a dazzling fireworks finale.

Fun Day from 2:00pm to 4:00pm

Our afternoon Fun Day runs from 2:00pm to 4:00pm, with our nursery rooms transformed into magical themed worlds. Upper Buckshaw takes on a Harry Potter theme, while Lower Buckshaw becomes Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, so there is plenty to explore and enjoy. Highlights during the Fun Day include:

• Themed nursery rooms (Harry Potter and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory)
• Cake stall
• Book stall
• Face painting
• Hook a Duck
• Staff and parent broom stick racing

Hair and beauty demonstrations

From 2:00pm to 4:00pm our talented hair stylists and beauty therapists will be on hand offering demonstrations and consultations. It is the perfect chance to pick up some tips, ask questions and find out more about the treatments available at our Hair and Beauty salon here at The Hub.

Music, food and fireworks from 4:00pm to 6:00pm

As the afternoon turns to evening, the celebrations continue from 4:00pm to 6:00pm with music from our DJ to keep the children entertained. There is plenty of warming food to buy from our food stations, so nobody goes hungry:

• Potato pie
• Chilli
• Hot beef sandwiches
• Hot dogs

Our Cappuccino cafe is open throughout the day too, serving hot drinks and treats to keep everyone cosy. The evening builds to our spectacular fireworks display at 6:00pm, a wonderful way to round off a brilliant family day out.
