Learning through play with the EYFS
Our nursery follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), which provides all the education children need to be ready for school. With a child led approach, little ones learn through play, building the confidence, independence and early skills that give them a strong start in reception.
Staff to child ratios are better than the required standard, at least one to four in Lower Buckshaw and one to eight in Upper Buckshaw, so your child always has the attention they deserve. If you are looking for a preschool in Chorley, our Upper Buckshaw room prepares children for their move to reception.
